It’s really no surprise, since besides a very powerful Warlord, he’s also an established and beloved character, as well as the star of our latest trailer:

It’s time to crack open some packs! Join Aquaman as he fills his collection with some Emperor Children goodness right before leading them into battle:
Get a first taste with Lord Kaphrael
Lord Kaphrael, Lord Exultant of the Callous Blades, is the rare Warlord of the Emperor’s Children and most likely the first contact most players will have with the faction. He is equipped with a Stimulation ability that buffs friendly troops, scraping some extra value from your tactics. However, Talent is where it’s at. “Euphoric Strike” an incredibly flexible tool that can be used to clear threats, create Combat Elixirs and help trigger Stimulation, Cruelty and Ecstasy. Explore new limits as Xarahan
Xarahan, Warpforge’s first daemon Warlord joins the Emperor’s Children as a commander that focuses on enhancing its kin. This daemon prince not only has the highest health value in the game (tied with the likes of Marneus Calgar and Ghazghkull Thraka) but also gets enhanced as the battle continues. Triggering his Ecstasy ability can grant you a great advantage in the endgame, while his Talent ensures all troops can become a threat if left unchecked, especially if they are daemons. King Aquaman also tested Xarahan and his daemon buddies:
Become the main character with Lucius the Eternal
It’s time for the main attraction. Lucius is currently the second Warlord in the game that has a differing starting statline. Brandishing 3 points of Melee attack from the start of the game and a very powerful kit of abilities, he’s a major threat from the get-go. He’s also available in a special Steam-exclusive package, so players were able to gain access to this Warlord pretty quickly. Check out The Ecclesiarch’s take on Lucius the Eternal:

Test the new faction in draft mode
Since the start of this week, an Emperor’s Children Warlord will be guaranteed to show up at the start of any Premium draft runs, allowing you to play with the new cards and test them on the battlefield. Take a look at how Bjthebrave fared:
