As if the new expansion wasn’t enough, a new feature will also open its doors in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge on April 3rd—welcome to The Vault.
This new feature introduces a time-limited additional reward system, featuring exclusive themed rewards as well as other useful items. Whether you’re chasing new cosmetics, valuable in-game currencies, or expansion cards, The Vault is a fantastic way to bolster your collection by getting some extra goodies while playing the game.
What is The Vault?
When you enter the game on April 3rd, you will be able to access The Vault from a seasonal content menu. The Vault will open its doors for a limited time coinciding with an event, such as a new Expansion coming into the game. During this period, players will be able to exchange tickets to enter the Vault and claim Crystals, Blackstone, Booster Packs, Random cards and exclusive content themed around the ongoing event.
Each week, the Vault will offer a refreshed set of special items, along with a pool of great rewards that will remain consistent throughout the event’s duration.
How it works
If you have a Vault Ticket, you will be able to delve into the Vault and exchange it for a reward! Every time you get a reward in the Vault, it is subject to some rules:
- Repeatable rewards, which include Expansion Booster Packs, All-Armies Booster Packs, All-Armies random cards of any rarity, Crystals and Blackstone, will be available throughout the event’s duration. These rewards can be pulled multiple times during the event.
- Exclusive items can only be awarded a maximum number of times during the event. This means new cards can only be collected up to their maximum copies in a deck, and every time you get an exclusive cosmetic, you will always get a different one!
- After every 10 times you delve into the Vault without finding an exclusive item, you will be guaranteed to find one the next time you open its doors. This counter does not reset with the weekly refresh of The Vault.
- If you have collected all of a week’s exclusive items, you will only get repeatable rewards when you delve into the Vault.
Vault Tickets can be obtained in many ways, such as:
- Purchased with in-game currencies.
- As a reward for progressing in a new Daily Skulls challenge, available in the Expansion’s “Missions” submenu (up to 3 per day).
- As a reward for reaching new milestones in the Expansion Pass.
- Included in other promotions and special offers.
What special items will be available in The Vault?
Every week of the ongoing event, the Special Item selection in the Vault will refresh, removing the previous ones and introducing a new batch of exclusive rewards. These range from exclusive cosmetics such as Avatars and Card backs to new collectable cards.
A total of 3 different cards will only be available in the Vault for the duration of an expansion’s release event. These cards can be pulled up as many times as their maximum copies in a deck and will become collectable through booster packs and craftable with wildcards at the end of the event.
What happens to unused tickets?
At the end of the event, any unused tickets will be automatically converted into Crystals. Make sure you make the most of this new feature while its doors remain open!
