The Beast Snaggas came out of the door striking strong and krumpin’ hard! While we are happy with the fun and flavourful new orky decks, it is clear that some cards have been more stompy than they proved during the testing rounds of the expansion. This month, we are making some small tweaks to a short list of Orks cards in aims of slowing the green tide. In the same vein, the Dark Angels are also receiving some changes to curtail their dominance.
At the same time, the T’au Empire receives a myriad of changes focused on improving the baseline of their decks! Many of their Common and Rare cards will now be either easier to play or slightly more survivable, and some of their least-played cards have been updated to be easier to slot in while deck-building.

Orks
- Da Bigger Dey Iz… (Mozrog’s Talent): The Melee buff will now last until end of turn. Description changed to “Ephemeral. Deal 1 damage to an enemy. If target survives, give +1 Melee to your Warlord this turn.”
- Will of Gork: Cost increased from 8 to 9.
- Grizzled Skarboy: Cost increased from 5 to 6.
- Nob on Smasha Squig: No longer has Concussive.
- Squighog Boyz: Health lowered from 6 to 5.
- Drag it Down: Now will trigger one less time and no longer buff troops in play. Description changed to “Deal 1 damage to an enemy for each friendly unit. If target dies, give +1 Health to troops in your hand.”
- Bomb Squig: Damage range lowered from 1-3 to 1-2. Description changed to “Unstable. Backlash: Deal 1-2 damage to all enemies.”
- Proper Killy: No longer grants +1 Melee. Description changed to “Your Warlord gains Blood Thirst this turn.”
Dark Angels
- Deathwing Knight Master: No longer has shield. The Melee bonus is now +2 instead of +3. Description changed to “Armour 2. Teleport: Deal 3 damage to all enemies and give +2 Melee to all friendly units.”
- Deathwing Champion: Melee lowered from 7 to 6.
- Deathwing Knight: Melee lowered from 5 to 4.
- Deadly Hunters: No longer counts the enemy Warlord. Description changed to “Deploy one Black Knight for each enemy troop.”
- Inner Circle Companion: Melee lowered from 5 to 4.
- Ravenwing Talonmaster: Health lowered from 6 to 5.
- Rites of Penance: Lowered the buffs from +5 to +3. Description changed to “Give +3 Melee, +3 Ranged and Invulnerable to a friendly unit until your next turn.”
T’au Empire
- Enforcer Battlesuit: Health lowered from 7 to 6. Added Armour 1. Description changed to “Vanguard. Armour 1. Adjacent units have +1 Ranged Attack. Companion 2: Guardian Drone.”
- Coldstar Battlesuit: Health lowered from 8 to 7. Added Armour 1. Description changed to “Flying. Armour 1. When you deploy a troop, give it +2 Health. Companion 2: Marker Drone.”
- Crisis Bodyguard: Melee increased from 2 to 3.
- Fire Warrior Marksman: Ranged increased from 4 to 5.
- Cadre Fireblade: Now also buffs Battlesuits. Description changed to “Your other Infantry and Battlesuit troops have +2 Ranged Attack.”
- Shield Generator (Riptide Battlesuit’s Talent): Cost lowered from 2 to 0.
- Priority Target: Cost lowered from 3 to 2.
- Thundering Rampage: Melee bonus increased from 2 to 3. Description changed to “Give +3 Melee Attack to a friendly unit this turn. If it’s an Infantry, give it Flank as well.”
- Breacher Shas’ui: Ranged increased from 4 to 5 and Health from 5 to 6.
- Fire Warrior Breacher: Health increased from 3 to 4.
- Stealth Shas’ui: Health increased from 4 to 5.
- Inspired to Greatness: Cost lowered from 3 to 2.
- Recon Sweep: Cost lowered from 3 to 2.
- Fire Warrior: Now has Long Range.
- Sky Ray Gunship: Health increased from 7 to 8.
- Tidewall Gunrig: Cost increased from 0 to 1. Damage increased from 2 to 3. Description changed to “Deal 3 damage to an enemy troop.”
- Watch Tower: Now can target the enemy Warlord. Description changed to “Give Markerlight 1 to an enemy.”
