Happy New Year, commanders! The first season of the year began earlier this week, so it’s time to take a look at how the meta has evolved during the December season. This time, we gathered data from after the release of the new The Avenging Son expansion, which covers the second half of the December season. Remember that all of the new Ultramarine cards are now available for crafting and in booster packs, but keep in mind that we will soon release a new balance update to handle overperforming cards.
The Ultramarines’ expansion gave them a big boost in popularity, but not all of the Warlords performed as intensely as their Primarch (particularly on Skirmish mode). Besides them, the Space Wolves have also remained a very popular option, and the Orks have risen in popularity thanks to their success in Skirmish. Let’s take a look at how all factions behaved during the last season! Bear in mind, to keep the list readable, we have limited the number of Warlords shown per table to the top 30, so your favourite one might not show up this month.
