Muster the forces of Caliban
Ever since days long gone, the Dark Angels have been fighting a war unknown to the rest of the Imperium. Even much of the Chapter is oblivious to their true duties, as the Dark Angels strive above all other things to atone for an ancient crime of betrayal committed over 10,000 standard years ago during the days of the Horus Heresy.
The Chapter has been shaped by its dark past and is secretive and monastic in nature. As a new recruit attains higher honours and levels of command, they are granted a little more knowledge on the truth behind the Dark Angels, but only the highest-ranking members of the Chapter, the members of what is known as the “Inner Circle,” know the terrible, shameful secret of what occurred 10,000 Terran years ago.
Many are the deeds the Dark Angels hold, most of them conquered by the Chapter’s forces alone to keep others from unveiling their truth. They have fought the length and breadth of the Imperium and beyond; against every foe that has ever beset Mankind, and no shortage of heroes will be counted among their lines when the Dark Angels join the game on 19th December.
