Behind the scenes: Warpforge’s must-see stand at Warhammer Fest 2023

Warhammer Fest 2023 has come to an end! The purple shimmers of the Warp powered vessels that guided thousands of attendees to Warpforge’s stand have shut down, and it’s time to recap what happened at this fantastic event! Check out the awesome video with the highlights and a backstage view of the stand, and read on for more information and great photos.

Making a statement: Warpforge’s stand

Resplendent in the shifting colours of the Warp, the stand acted like a beacon in the dark, attracting bioforms from all over the Galaxy. Thousands of warriors had a chance to try out the pre-release demo of ‘Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge’, to see up close the amazing dioramas on display, and to enter the most marvellous device forged by the Adeptus Mechanicus: the Omnispex Chamber. Even the Warmaster himself showed up!

Unforgettable experience: The Omnispex Chamber

Enter the Omnispex Chamber and shed some light on your future! Our resident Magos analyzed the essence of the visitors to determine which faction they should lead on the battlefield, transforming them into a card to take home as a gift!

Throughout Warhammer Fest, the grand Omnispex Chamber inspected well over 1500 subjects to determine their true allegiance, either confirming the subject’s suspicions or sometimes revealing unfathomable secrets.

Mind-bending creativity: Warpforge’s diorama by Squidmar

Visitors were also able to see up close the amazing diorama created by the team at Squidmar Miniatures, who brought the Ork’s battleground in Warpforge to life! Their rendition masterfully showcases all the details from the in-game scenario in all their Orky glory.

Since no battleground is complete without an army, Varro Tigurius and Grukk Face-Rippa were also transformed into incredible card-like dioramas alongside their troops!

You can check out the process that gave birth to this diorama in Squidmar Miniatures’ videos:

Masterpieces on display: The greatest giveaways

Those who attended the event were able to see in person the two gorgeous miniatures of Horus Ascended and Ghazghkull Thraka, beautifully painted by Ángel Giráldez and Ninjon respectively, in line with the amazing new artwork that both characters have received in Legions and Warpforge.

The two models were up for grabs among the visitors, and the winners were chosen from among the coolest pictures taken in the stand!

Even if you couldn’t take home the miniatures, you can still enjoy the videos explaining the painting process:

Non-stop action: The Gaming Zone
