Crashing through the front lines atop snarling Squigs while they seek their next prey, the Beast Snaggas storm into Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, bringing raw primal fury to the battlefield! These feral Orks, hardened by the hunt and obsessed with smashing the biggest foes they can find, join the game on today, introducing savage new mechanics, brutal synergies, and an array of new ways to krump your enemies. Lead the hunt!
The nomadic Beast Snaggas shun much of modern Ork technology in favour of brute strength, beast-mounted charges, and sheer ferocity. For the Beast Snaggas, the galaxy is a hunting ground filled with worthy prey. From towering tanks to monstrous xenos, nothing is too big to krump. Driven by instinct, superstition, and a deep reverence for the beasts they ride, they are relentless in battle and fearless in the face of death. Now, they charge into Warpforge, eager to hunt new trophies.

New Warlords
Having hunted their prey through the length and breadth of the Galaxy, there is no shortage of big and brutal beastbosses among the Beast Snaggas. With the expansion, two powerful Beast Snaggas Warlords will command the Orks in their search for new trophies:
- Beastboss Morgrim: Ferocious and foul‑tempered, beastboss Morgrim possesses cybork enhancements and a wired‑in targetin’ squig to bring down even the largest prey one‑on‑one.
- Mozrog Skragbad: There’s not a tougher, more belligerent Ork than Mozrog Skragbad. Boasting a craggier hide than a rok squig’s, he is the epitome of what the average Beast Snagga aspires to become.
New card mechanics
With the introduction of the Beast Snaggas, new keywords and mechanics are also making its way into Warpforge! Get ready to master the battlefield with:
- Beast: a new subtype of troops, representing the varied fauna in the likes of squigs and squiggoths, as well as other troops pulled or ridden by these creatures. Same as “Infantry” or “Vehicle”, the Beast subtype has no effect by itself, but synergizes with other cards that reference it.
- Stomp: when a unit with this trait defeats an enemy in combat, any excess damage will be dealt to an adjacent enemy unit.
Changes to Orks cards
When the expansion releases, the Goff Orks faction will be rebranded to Orks to more comfortably fit the expansion’s content. Additionally, a few of the classic Orks cards will receive tweaks to better fit the new collection and avoid harmful play patterns. Here’s the full list of changes:
- Bomb Squig: changed card type to Beast and description to ”Unstable. Backlash: Deal 1-3 damage to all enemies” (instead of 2-3)
- Ork Nob: description changed to “When you play a troop, give it Flank”
- Krump da Gitz: description changed to “All troops you play this turn gain Flank”
How to start collecting them
Take advantage of and release-day deals to get extra value when collecting the new faction! The Beast Snaggas come into the game as an expansion to an existing faction, so the new cards will be collectable in multiple ways.
- Beast Snaggas Expansion Booster Packs: These booster guarantee that at least one card will be from the new expansion.
- Ork Booster Packs: Ork booster packs have a chance at yielding expansion cards.
- All-armies Booster Packs: All-armies booster packs have a chance at yielding expansion cards.
- In-game rewards: All random card rewards have a chance to yield a card from the new expansion. These include Campaign reward nodes, draft rewards, weekly crates, etc.
- The Vault: The Vault is a new reward system opening its doors for the first time with this expansion! Delving into the vault can yield booster packs, and it is also the only way to collect 3 of the expansion’s cards before they become widely craftable at a later date.
- Expansion pass: During the event, a new reward track will be available, featuring in-game currency rewards, exclusive new cosmetics, booster packs and 1 of the expansion’s cards, which will only be available here until a later date. Check out below for more details on how it will work.
At the end of the Expansion event, crafting with wildcards will be enabled for all of the expansion’s new cards, including the 4 cards collectable through The Vault and the Expansion pass.
Expansion Pass
The Beast Snaggas expansion is accompanied by an Expansion Pass, which will let you earn additional rewards the 4 weeks following the Expansion’s release simply by playing the game! Each skull you earn in your multiplayer and draft battles will contribute to progressing the track. Every week, there will also be new additional missions that reward large amounts of progress, launching your track forward big time or allowing you to catch up before it ends.
With an optional Premium purchase, you will be able to make the most out of your Expansion Pass. Premium Pass holders will get Beastbos Morgrim as their very first reward and gain access to additional rewards as they progress through their track, such as exclusive cosmetics and a new Legendary card exclusive to the Expansion Pass until a later date. Also, they will earn 20% more track progress while the Expansion Pass lasts. The Premium Pass can be purchased with any of the supported currencies or exchanged in-game for 2850 gold.
New Forge rewards

Enter The Vault!
The Vault opens its doors for the first time in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge! The Vault offers an additional way to earn rewards by exchanging tickets, which can be earned by playing the game, exchanged for in-game currencies, purchased or collected via special promotions and deals.
During the 4 weeks following the expansion’s release, players will be able to use tickets to enter the Vault and claim random rewards. These range from Crystals, Blackstone, Booster Packs and Random cards to exclusive content themed around the Beast Snaggas, such as cosmetics and cards.
Each week, the Vault will offer a refreshed set of special items, along with a pool of great rewards that will remain consistent throughout the event’s duration. After every 10 times one delves into the Vault without finding an exclusive item, players are guaranteed to find one the next time you open its doors. Check out moe details on The Vault here.
