A new balance update will soon make its way into the game, aiming to tone down Ghazghkull’s dominance after the last changes. This balance update also aims to increase the viability of some of the least successful Warlords and the playability of some of the least used cards.
We would like every Warlord to have a chance on the ladder and are working on ways to promote deck diversity. Keep your eyes peeled for new content, and check out the full list of balance changes:
Ultramarines
- Uriel Ventris: Changed description to ‘Start with an extra card. Talent: Master of the Fleet’
- Octavio Infiltrator: Increased Health from 1 to 2
- Primaris Inceptor: Increase Health from 3 to 4
- Antaro Chronus: Increased Ranged from 4 to 5
- Spear of Macragge (Antaro Chronus’ Talent): Reduced cost to 1 and changed its description to ‘Ephemeral. Draw a Vehicle and give it Armour 2’
- Primaris Impulsor: Increase Health from 5 to 6
- Greatest Deeds: Change description to ‘Ephemeral. Heal 5 to a friendly unit. If it’s a troop, give it Vanguard’
- Hero’s Respite: Reduced cost to 2
Goff Orks
- Greatest Warboss (Ghazghkull Thraka’s Talent): Change description to ‘Ephemeral. Give +1M and +1R to your troops. If you don’t control any, deploy a Grot’
- Makari the Grot: Changed description to ‘Adjacent units have +1M. Backlash: Returns to your hand and costs 2 more this turn’
Black Legion
- Venomcrawler: It now has Armour 1
- Diabolic Strength (Sylar Hexscorn’s Talent): Change description to ‘Ephemeral. Heal 1 to your units and give them +2M this turn’
- Helspear Assault (Haarken Worldclaimer’s talent): Changed description to: ‘Ephemeral. Your warlord gains “Blast 2 and Strike: Give a Dark Pact to a random friendly troop” this turn’
Hive Fleet Leviathan
- Hormagaunt: Increase Melee from 2 to 3
- Genestealer: Changed ‘Camouflage’ for ‘Stealth’. Lowered Health from 4 to 3.
- Leviathan’s Tendrils: Changed description to: ‘Draw 2 cards. Give +1H to any troop drawn’
