Greetings, commanders! We have crossed out the first half of the year, so it’s the perfect time to shed some light on what’s coming to Warpforge next. As mentioned in our Update v1.27.2 web post we’re not just adding new content, we’re analysing and improving the entire game. Read on to discover what’s in store for the rest of the year!
UI and rewards update
We are taking a hard look into the game’s interface and experience to improve the first contact players have with the game. Currently, things can feel a bit overwhelming, and the path forward for beginners isn’t always clear. We are working on a cleaner, leaner interface that clearly showcases what players can do and how they can earn new cards to power up their collections.
At the same time, the reward system has remained largely unchanged since our first ranked season. While we’re quite happy with the Campaign system as a way to ease players into new factions, we want to revisit the current missions, daily and ranked rewards to make them more approachable and satisfying for players at every level.
New styles and more frequent timed events
We want more to happen in Warpforge, more often! We’re preparing to roll out new Warlord Styles on a more regular basis, and we’re exploring new ways to collect them beyond simply spending gold.
In the same vein, we have usually reserved timed events in the game as a celebration for major releases, like new factions or expansions. We want to change that heading into the future, introducing a steady rhythm of events bringing fresh challenges and unique rewards! Stay tuned for more information on these.
New content
While for a time we want to focus less on new content and more on new features and ways to play the game, we’re still committed to delivering the epicness that defines Warhammer 40,000. That means that, of course, new content is on the way! We can not share much just yet, but know that a new Reinforcement Drop, a new faction and an expansion featuring a much anticipated character are currently in the works.

The new Reinforcement Drop will be coming your way later this month, as soon as a certain suit of relic armour is found and secured! It will also join the game with a new Raid Event, so rally your decks and prepare for battle.
